White is a summerstaple and can be spiced up by making it interesting by adding funky colours through your accessories. Also this can be done by mixing textures-crinkled layers. White should be layered over colour to give it a fresh look or add accessories that are colourful like scarves, bags and belts. The trick is to create interesting combinations using whites.

Designer Surily Goel feels nothing works better than a white T- shirt with fun accessories. She says, "Even waist tunic dresses with a belt are high on their fashion quotient, add colour through accessories and NFL jerseys they simply look great for any event or occasion. For a funky look, try to wear shoes or belts in neon pink and yellow. For a more sophisticated look, a plain white T-shirt or shirt worn with faded blue denims and pumps or chic flats is classic."

Designers Kiran Jaisinghani and Meghna Agarwal love to add an ethnic touchto their garments. Theysay, "One can wear intricately textured and crisp whites detailed with goldzari which can be teamed with ankle length pallazos this summer. Style with accessories in colours like indigoand tangerine to look stylish."

Emphasising on the importance of funky accessories, designer Nisha Merchant says, "You could use pastels like light pink, Air max 97 lilac and peach or even a catchy palette like a vibrant pink or yellow to really take summer fashion to a new level! While wearing white is a great idea for the day, very few white ensembles are as gorgeous and appropriate at night but wear the attitude anyway!"

Sonam Taparia, merchandiser, says, "White as a colour for clothing has always been in demand. No other colour looks as elegant and pure as white does. We celebrate its elegance and beauty, in various styles, drapes and silhouettes."
